Paul S. Rodriguez, a Ventura County native, has been the Senior Deputy Labor Commissioner in the Santa Barbara Wage Claim Adjudication (WCA) office of the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE) since July of 2008, supervising a staff of eight people. While in State service, Paul has worked for the following agencies: Employment Development Department (EDD) in Job Service Placement and Unemployment Insurance Claims, the Department of Health Services (DHS) in Medi-Cal Hospital Rate Reimbursement, the Department of Fair Employment & Housing (DFEH) investigating discrimination complaints, and with the DLSE as a Wage Claim Deputy, Field Investigator, Hearing Officer, and presently as a Supervisor.
