Program Overview

California law and the Department of Fair Employment and Housing require companies with more than 50 employees to certify compliance by providing their supervisory staff with sexual harassment prevention training every two years, and within 6 months for new and newly-promoted supervisors. Companies that do not comply with this law significantly increase potential liability for damages and penalties when an employee complains of harassment. For smaller companies, harassment training is an effective way to demonstrate your company's commitment to preventing harassment in the workplace. This seminar will provide attendees with:

  • Mandatory two-hour sexual harassment training
  • Tools for identifying and managing sexual harassment situations in the workplace
  • Procedures for handling harassment complaints, guidelines for conducting an effective investigation, and strategies for effectively dealing with offending employees.
  • Training materials and acknowledgement form certifying attendance.
