Professional Experience
Hunter has diverse and extensive law clerk experience from over the past seven years. He has gained valuable insight from both plaintiff and defense litigation firms, having assisted on insurance defense cases, sexual abuse litigation, and a variety of other legal matters. He also worked as a judicial extern for a federal district court judge while in law school.
Community
Hunter grew up in Ventura County. He is currently residing in Orange County while he finishes law school. He is eager to return to Camarillo with his wife and become involved in the Ventura County community.
Education
Hunter attended college at Pepperdine University in Malibu. He graduated summa cum laude, majoring in Rhetoric and Leadership Communication. While earning his undergraduate degree, he also received a Certificate in Conflict Management at the Caruso School of Law.
Hunter currently attends Chapman Fowler School of Law on a full scholarship with an emphasis in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. There, he has earned CALI Awards in Contract Law, Civil Procedure, Evidence, Civil Practice Foundations, and Client Interviewing and Counseling. He will graduate in the Spring of 2023 in the top 5% of his class.
Personal
Hunter loves to run. He has completed several races around Ventura County and Los Angeles County, including most recently the “Santa to the Sea” Half Marathon. He also enjoys making and drinking specialty coffee. Most importantly, he loves to spend time with his family, including his wife, Maya, and his Australian Shepherd, Hennessy.
