Joshua has a diverse legal background, with experience in civil litigation, land use, water law, environmental law matters, public agency representation, and contract drafting and negotiation. Joshua works with clients to develop creative solutions to their employment law issues.
Joshua is an active member of the Rotary Club of Oxnard. He is the Club’s 2021 President-Elect and serves on the Board of Directors. Among other initiatives, he helped create an internship program between the Club and Pacifica High School Code Academy students to update and manage the Club’s website. He also has also led community clean-up efforts at Ormond Beach.
Joshua graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2012 with degrees in Politics and Environmental Studies. He received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 2018. While at Loyola, he served as Co-President of the Environmental Law Society and Chair of the Public Interest Law Foundation. He also participated in the Jeffery G. Miller National Environmental Moot Court Competition, where his team earned an award for the Best Business Brief and placed as quarterfinalists. He was awarded the Ami Silverman Award in 2016 and received the Gerald T. McLaughlin Scholarship in 2017. Joshua continues mentoring Loyola students and annually volunteers as a guest judge for Loyola’s Environmental Moot Court team.
Joshua lives in Ventura with his fiancé. He enjoys surfing, gardening, birdwatching, camping, playing softball, and taking his dog Mando on adventures. He is also a huge Dodgers fan and frequents the Ravine during the summer.
