Professional Experience
Chandra practices in the area of employment litigation on behalf of employers and managers. She has extensive civil litigation experience in both state and federal courts. Her litigation background encompasses a broad range of disputes, including construction defect and mold claims, personal injury defense, general and professional liability defense, intellectual property litigation, real estate litigation, business litigation, and homeowners association matters. In 2003, she was admitted to the State Bar of California. Chandra is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California.
Chandra Beaton litigates a broad range of employment and business matters in both state and federal court, as well as in administrative proceedings, including cases involving the following:

Community
Chandra is a long-time resident of Ventura County. She is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association, Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association, and Women Lawyers of Ventura County.
Education
Chandra received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1997. She attended UCSB as a Chancellor’s Scholar. In 2002, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law as well as a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.
Personal
Chandra lives in Ventura with her fiancé. She enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling, and listening to live music.
