Kathleen M. Fellows

Professional Experience

Kathy has been a civil litigation attorney since 2011. She has defended employers in a broad spectrum of cases, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, class actions, PAGA representative cases and more. Kathy has also efficiently resolved numerous matters through a variety of alternative dispute resolution methods. Using this experience, Kathy now focuses her practice primarily on day-to-day advice and counsel. She strives to help employers proactively comply with complex employment laws and mitigate their legal exposure.

Kathy trains and counsels employers in all aspects of employment law, including:

Kathy has been named as a Southern California “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. She has been named as one of the “Top 40 Under 40” by the Pacific Coast Business Times. She also received the Women’s Council “Rising Star” award from the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.

Community

Kathy is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, the Ventura County Bar Association, and Women Lawyers of Ventura County.

Education

Kathy graduated with honors from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology. She received her Juris Doctor from Ventura College of Law, graduating as the Valedictorian of her class.
