Jamie Stein litigates all areas of employment law in both state and federal court, with particular experience in the areas of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour claims, unfair business practices and PAGA actions. Jamie has trial experience in both state and federal court, as well as binding arbitration. Since 2002, she has defended clients of varying sizes, with a high level of success in resolving cases favorably on summary judgment or by way of dismissal. Jamie has a reputation for persistence, and is skilled in authoring persuasive legal briefs. Jamie is admitted to the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Jamie is a native resident of Ventura County.
Jamie graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern University School of Law. While at Southwestern, her academic achievements placed her on the Dean's List and earned her a CALI Award in Excellence. She also participated in the school's Interscholastic Trial Advocacy Program, where she learned effective courtroom presence and oral advocacy.
Jamie is an avid hiker who also enjoys interior and landscape design, exploring delicious cuisine, and spending time with her family.
